Lætitia Avrot is an influential figure in the world of PostgreSQL. She is the founder of Postgres Women and a recognized contributor to the PostgreSQL project. Lætitia discovered Postgres in 2007 and has spent over 20 years as an IT industry professional specializing in PostgreSQL and database security. She serves as a technical expert and consultant for organizations implementing PostgreSQL solutions across Europe. Lætitia also shares her expertise as a part-time lecturer at Lyon University, where she has been teaching PostgreSQL for 10 years. Her leadership and dedication have made her a respected professional within the global PostgreSQL community.

Tobias Baader is the product manager for OpenCloud, where he works with the team to shape the vision, strategy, design, and development of the open source platform. For over 15 years, he has been building web and mobile products with a strong focus on open source. His main interest lies in systematically testing product-market fit under real-world conditions and turning complex technologies into products that are simple and accessible to use. Outside of work, he volunteers as a mentor at CoderDojo Nürnberg, a coding club for kids and teenagers.

Pierre Baudracco is the founder of BlueMind, the French sovereign collaborative messaging solution, designed as a genuine alternative to Microsoft Exchange/365 and Google Workspace. A recognised messaging expert for over 25 years, he has led some of France’s largest open source projects. A committed player in the digital ecosystem, he is also co-chair of the CNLL (Union of Free Software Companies) and chairs the Open Source Hub of the Systematic Paris-Region cluster.

As a Platform Engineer at the Health Data Warehouse (EDS) at AP-HP, a department dedicated to supporting research and innovation in the field of health, my role consists of designing and maintaining resilient, high-performance infrastructures in on-premise and cloud environments.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work on critical and complex infrastructures, familiarising myself with technologies and tools that I now use on a daily basis: Kubernetes, ArgoCD, OpenTofu, Proxmox, Ceph, Ansible and many others.

I am particularly passionate about architecture and automation, two areas that guide my work and aim to make complex infrastructures easy to understand.

Vittorio Bertola is the Head of Policy & Innovation at Open-Xchange, a leading provider of open source email and DNS solutions, where he follows regulatory and standardization developments advocating an open Internet based on user choice, privacy, and federation and contributing to the European Union’s digital autonomy efforts. In the last twenty-five years, he was involved with several Internet startups and served in many Internet governance organizations, including the ICANN Board and the United Nations Working Group on Internet Governance. He recently authored an essay on digital sovereignty and platform regulation in Italian (2023, Bollati Boringhieri) and English (2025, Springer).

Niko Bonnieure is a software engineer specialized in encryption, local-first and linked data technologies. After working in big data startups for several years, and following the Snowden revelations in 2013, he decided to quit those jobs and dedicate his time to building a decentralized platform for malleable apps based on graph databases. He then added CRDTs to the mix to solve consistency issues in P2P setting, and E2EE to preserve privacy.

Niko is a strong advocate for Digital Sovereignty in Europe.

Julien Bonvarlet is Engineering Manager at Core Engine, PrestaShop, with strong expertise in backend development and scalable architectures. A specialist in CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and testing strategies, Julien builds backend solutions that are high-performing, robust, and maintainable.
Passionate about mentoring and best development practices, he promotes clean code and continuous improvement in workflows.
As an active open source contributor, he constantly explores new technologies to enhance system performance and scalability.

He serves as an Open Source Ambassador at SUSE, where his efforts are directed towards bringing attention to SUSE’s supported Open Source offerings. Emiel is also a passionate Co-Founder and Board Member of the Dutch Open Source Business Alliance (DOSBA), advocating for Open Source Software across the Netherlands, EU, and beyond. His expertise makes him an international speaker on key subjects such as Digital Sovereignty, Open Source, NIS-2, CRA, OSPOs, and Open Source in Education.

Benjamin Cabé is a technology enthusiast with a passion for empowering developers to build innovative solutions. He has 20 years of experience leading developer engagement initiatives with some of the top communities and companies in the IoT, embedded, and AI space.
He has invented an award-winning open source and open hardware artificial nose that he likes to use as an educational platform for people interested in diving into the world of embedded development.
He is currently a Developer Advocate for the Zephyr Project at the Linux Foundation and lives in Toulouse, France, where he enjoys baking sourdough bread with the help of his artificial nose.

Christian leads Rocket.Chat’s strategic development in France and Europe, with a particular focus on regulated sectors and projects with high sovereignty requirements (defence, health, education, critical infrastructure). With international experience (Singapore, Australia, France, Italy) and a background at the crossroads of open source technology and go-to-market strategy, he supports European institutions and integrators in the implementation of interoperable, secure and self-hosted collaborative solutions.

He is also involved in promoting sustainable business models for open source, in line with regulatory issues (GDPR, NIS2, CRA) and European innovation dynamics.

A long-time practitioner of free software, Florent only conceives of work as a means to build Commons in a collaborative manner. He became an environmentalist when he realised that the planet was the ultimate Commons.

Passionate about communication issues and with a Master’s degree in Communication Strategy and Consulting from the University of Lorraine, Killian is always ready to put his acquired skills to good use in tackling new challenges.

Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to work on a variety of concrete projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, which has allowed him to refine his management and adaptability skills in different situations.

He is particularly interested in using storytelling, new technologies and digital media to create innovative and impactful communication campaigns. His goal is to contribute to BeeZim’s growth by developing effective and targeted communication strategies and actions.

After studying engineering and spending some time in AI research, Nicolas Chauvat founded Logilab in 2000 and still runs the company today. His areas of interest include the semantic web, free software, artificial intelligence, open data, agile methods, horizontal organisations and programming languages.

Anais Concepcion is the co-CEO of Grist Labs, creators of Grist, an open-source spreadsheet-database hybrid built for teams that need structure, security, and ownership over their data. Anais is passionate about building tools that balance power with approachability, and believes open-source software should be held to the same standards of usability as the best commercial products.

Sylvain Corlay is the founder and chairman of QuantStack, a company specialising in open-source software for scientific computing.

As an open-source developer, Sylvain is very active in the free scientific computing ecosystem, particularly in the Jupyter project, as well as in the conda-forge and xtensor projects. In 2018, he and the other members of the Jupyter leadership were honoured with the ACM Software System Award.

Beyond QuantStack, Sylvain is very involved in the community. He was a board member of the NumFOCUS foundation from 2018 to 2024, organised the JupyterCon 2023 conference in Paris, and has been coordinating the PyData community in Paris since 2017, as organiser of the PyData meetup group and conference in 2024 and 2025.

As the Program Manager for Eclipse Adoptium, Carmen brings a wealth of experience in project, operations, and financial management across various industries to help Adoptium working group members achieve their goals and objectives. Her background includes successful terms in healthcare, pharma, fintech, and tech startups. Additionally, She actively contributes to Step4ward, a mentoring program in Spain, demonstrating her commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech world.

With a decade of experience working with service providers, cloud computing and application development, and as DevOps Leader @The Embedded Kit by Witekio since 2022, Guillaume supports his clients in their DevOps practices, the management of their IoT fleets, the architecture of their cloud-connected embedded applications, and the management of collected data.

Gilles Dubois, Head Developer at FactorFX, began his career with the company in 2015. A self-taught DevOps engineer, he is passionate about open source and has contributed to numerous open source projects. Together with his team, Gilles Dubois works actively to bring relevant developments to OCS Inventory.

Creator of XWiki and CEO of XWiki SAS, Ludovic has been developing the open source company XWiki SAS for 20 years.

XWiki SAS, a European company based in France and Romania, develops only open source application software in the field of knowledge sharing and secure collaboration. XWiki is used by thousands of organisations to organise, share and collaborate on information. XWiki SAS also develops CryptPad software, an innovative solution that enables collaboration while protecting data confidentiality.

He has been participating for over 10 years and presenting at Open Source Experience, FOSDEM, OW2Con and Capitole du Libre conferences on collaboration and privacy software as well as on business models and the financing of open source software.

Frédéric Duflot is an expert in digital compliance and cybersecurity. He heads Examin, a company that publishes digital compliance software and provides services related to regulatory and technical compliance. He is also a cyber reservist with the French Civil Aviation Authority (OFAC).

Holger Dyroff has been working in the Linux and Open Source space since 1993, bringing over three decades of experience in enterprise IT, digital sovereignty, and large-scale infrastructure projects across the world. He is Program Manager for Linux Client Management at B1 Systems, where he leads the development of scalable, secure Linux desktop solutions for public sector and industrial environments. Previously, he held leadership roles at ownCloud and SUSE, helping shape Open Source strategies in global enterprises and government IT. His work focuses on bridging technology, policy, and operations to build sustainable and sovereign digital infrastructures.

Julien is a Design System Tech Lead at Thales in Paris, France, since 2025, continuing to focus on Design Systems and maintaining front-end libraries. Before joining Thales, he spent over 15 years at Orange, including 4 years as a Design System Tech Lead, where he led and maintained the development of several front-end frameworks and libraries for the company.

In his spare time, Julien has been a Bootstrap core team member since 2022 and an active contributor to the project since 2021. He is also the creator of Open {re}Source, a platform for sharing Open Source knowledge, and launched the Advent of Open Source event in December 2024. He remains passionate about contributing to Open Source whenever possible.

Peter Farkas is the Co-Founder and CEO of FerretDB, bringing a wealth of experience in leading distributed teams and managing innovative Open Source projects. With a robust background in database and Big Data technologies, Peter has made significant contributions to the field during his tenures at prominent companies such as Percona and Cloudera. At Percona, he was instrumental in establishing Percona Support, setting new industry standards for service quality in Enterprise Open Source database software support. Peter holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Buckingham. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys reading and traveling to new places around the globe.

Noé Faure is currently deputy head of unit at the French Electronic Communications, Postal and Press Distribution Regulatory Authority (Arcep), the French telecommunications regulator. Since 2021, he has been responsible for the ‘Mon réseau mobile’ mapping platform, which allows users to check mobile coverage (2G, 3G, 4G) throughout France. He was in charge of the complete overhaul of this tool in 2025 and is deeply committed to digital issues, particularly those related to open data and open source and free software.

Matthieu is Director of Adullact, an association of local authorities working to jointly develop digital solutions for the public sector.
He is the creator of Asqatasun, free software for measuring web accessibility.

Stefane Fermigier is a French entrepreneur and open source advocate. He is the founder and CEO of Abilian, a company that develops enterprise information management solutions based on open source software.

He co-founded and led several organisations dedicated to developing the open source ecosystem in France and Europe: APELL (2020), the PyData Paris / PyParis conference (2014), CNLL (2010), the National Council of Free / Open Source Companies; the GTLL (2007), the Open World Forum / Paris Open Source Summit (2008), an annual conference dedicated to open source and ‘open everything’ in Paris.

He is also an active member of the EuroStack industrial initiative.

As MLOps Lead at the Data Services Agency of France Travail’s IT department, Maxime is involved in the industrialisation of Artificial Intelligence services with high business value added.

Thomas Froment is the Program Manager for Development Tools at the Eclipse Foundation, where he oversees all tooling projects, including Eclipse Theia and Theia AI, as part of the Cloud DevTools Working Group. He also leads the Open VSX and Eclipse IDE working groups. Before joining Eclipse in 2024, he co-founded Komyu (as CTO), and previously held senior leadership roles at Thales, where he was responsible for DevOps strategy and led the enterprise-wide InnerSource transformation.

Pierre Gaillard holds a PhD in machine learning from the University of Technology of Compiègne, as well as an engineering degree and a master’s degree in computer science and information systems. With over ten years of experience in data-driven innovation, he strives to bridge the gap between advanced data processing, artificial intelligence and real-world industrial applications. Currently head of the ‘Embedded AI’ programme at CEA-List, he leads the DeepGreen project, an initiative to develop Eclipse Aidge, an open source platform dedicated to embedded AI.

A freelance developer since 2020, Cyrille has had the opportunity to work in several contexts where DevOps culture was trying to gain ground. Often starting with CI/CD and containerisation, and sometimes getting lost in the intricacies of Kubernetes.
Since early 2025, he has had the opportunity to work with a team that develops ‘DevOps tools’ for an open-source virtualisation stack: Xen Orchestra. Their developments range from SDKs in Golang or Python to Kubernetes plugins and Terraform cloud providers.

Peter Ganten studied physics and psychology before founding Univention GmbH after holding various research and consulting positions. He played a key role in the development and distribution of Univention Corporate Server (UCS) and Univention Nubus. Today, he serves as the CEO of Univention and is responsible for the company’s strategic direction.
Peter Ganten has been involved with Open Source since 1994 and became known as the author of a successful manual on Debian GNU/Linux.
In his role as a board member of Linux-Verband and Lisog e.V., he was instrumental in founding the Open Source Business Alliance (OSBA) of Germany, which he has chaired since 2011. In this role, he promotes the spread of open source and the use of free software in business and administration to enable digital sovereignty, and the ability to stay in control and innovate freely.

Pierre-Yves is the CEO of OW2 since 2022: a European non-profit FOSS foundation, we host open source projects, promote them, animate a community mixing academics, companies, public bodies, foundations, associations and individuals, promote FOSS by organizing or participating to professional events, and advocate for it at political and social levels. OW2 is also involved in the NGI FOSS funding programme.
Before, Pierre-Yves was an open source supporter for 28 years, writing code, doing business and consulting, working with academia, teaching computer science and participating in OW2 as an elected Board representative.

David Gonzalez began with a technical degree in green chemistry, with a strong interest in ecology. After publishing his research, he joined Michelin in 2008 as a research engineer at the age of just 20, responsible for anticipating technological breakthroughs in tyre technology. Over the course of 14 years, he expanded his skills and validated them with executive certificates in strategy, sustainable economics and innovation from Harvard Business School and MIT. He then left industry to become an entrepreneur: with his partner, he founded the e-commerce site justforpets.fr, specialising in pet accessories, and at the same time opened his own consulting firm. Passionate about AI and digital sovereignty, he puts this expertise at the service of his business and the companies he supports.

Bastien Guerry studied Philosophy and Cognitive Science. He became interested in the Free Software movement in the 90s and taught himself to code by contributing to GNU Emacs. In 2017, he joined the Public Interest Entrepreneurs program at Etalab, the open data agency. There, he discovered the challenges that public institutions face when it comes to using and publishing free software. In 2018, he co-started the BlueHats movement, bringing together Free Software enthusiasts from the public sector, and since 2021, he’s the Free Software officer for the Interministerial Digital Directorate, leading its “Open Source Program Office”, code.gouv.fr.

With a background of telecommunications and network engineer, François-Xavier studied in the United States before starting his own business in France. In 2006, he founded FactorFX, a hybrid open source solution integrator/publisher, where he is now CTO. Describing himself as an “open source enthusiast,” he is involved in multiple projects within the open source community. Together with his team, he works daily on the development of OCS Inventory and Proxmox.

Jose is the Product Lead for VictoriaMetrics Cloud. With a focus on Observability and Sustainability, his work has been deeply related to the OpenTelemetry project, distributed tracing and power monitoring projects.

His expertise has been built from previous gigs as a Software Architect, Tech Lead and Product Owner in the Telecommunications industry, all the way from the software programming trenches where agile ways of working where a sound CI, testing and observability best practices have presented themselves as the main principles that drive every successful project.

With a scientific background in Physics and a PhD in Computational Materials Engineering, curiosity, openness and a pragmatic view are always expected. Beyond the boardroom, he is a C++ enthusiast and a creative force: contributing symphonic touches as a keyboardist in metal bands, when he is not playing video games…

Passionate about IT for over fifteen years, Nathanaël worked as a system and network administrator, then as a DevOps engineer. Since 2024, he has been working at Vates, a French company that specialises in open source virtualisation.
In parallel, he has developed several Android and iOS applications as a contributor and maintainer on a freelance or volunteer basis (in Flutter). Convinced of the importance of privacy, he hosts online services for his friends and family in the chatons movement and presents them on Isidorus.

Anthony Harrison has been developing and delivering mission-critical applications for over 40 years where he has held various roles in software, systems and cyber engineering. He is the Founder and Director of APH10, and co-founder of SBOM Europe, and is a leading source of expertise in Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) regularly presenting at conferences across Europe. He has been developing open-source software actively for many years, particularly related to securing the software supply chain.
He is a mentor for the Google Summer of Code for the Python Software Foundation and Manchester CoderDojo teaching students Python.

Alexandre Hervin is the coordinator of the Cyber & Security Hub at Systematic Paris-Region. He supports this rich and varied ecosystem of more than 200 members, where he uses his skills to promote the cybersecurity ecosystem and develop cyber, security and defence companies. His role is also to encourage the emergence of online research projects with academics. In addition, he represents the cluster in various working groups, including the CSF Industries de Sécurité and the Campus Cyber national, and is the Ile-de-France Region’s key contact for cybersecurity initiatives in the area. He has 15 years of experience in industry, regional economic development agencies and supporting innovative cybersecurity projects.

Quentin Houéry is a project manager at IGN within the programmes and public policy support department. Quentin is an engineer specialising in product design and holds a Master of Science in Advanced Technology Management from the University of Wolverhampton in England. After working for several years in a digital transformation consulting firm, he specialised in digital service design approaches and design methodology and collective intelligence in various start-ups. He joined IGN a year and a half ago as coordinator of the Digital Twin of France and its Territories project, after two years as head of a public innovation laboratory at the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

Founder and Chairman of the firm inno³, Benjamin Jean has been assisting public and private sector players with their openness and collaboration initiatives for over fifteen years.

A lawyer by training specialising in intellectual property and a recognised expert in open models, he has a passion for technical subjects related to digital practices and design methods that support transformation initiatives. A researcher and lecturer at numerous prestigious universities, he regularly works as a consultant for the law firm Vercken & Gaullier and is often called upon to speak on these topics at working groups, seminars and conferences in France and Europe.

Frank Karlitschek is a long time open source contributor and former board member of the KDE e.V. He founded ownCloud in 2010 and the successor Nextcloud in 2016 to create a fully open source and decentralized alternative to big centralized cloud companies. Frank was an invited expert at the W3C to help to create the ActivityPub standard. Frank has spoken at MIT, CERN, Harvard and ETH and keynoted LinuxCon, Latinoware, FOSSASIA, Campus Party and many other conferences. Frank is the founder and CEO of Nextcloud GmbH. He is also a fellow of Open Forum Europe and an advisor to the United Nations regarding Open Source. Frank won the European SFS Free Software Award 2023 and the Acteurs du Libre European Award 2023.

Yacine has over 26 years of experience in the open source software sector (7 years in the world of Internet service providers, 14 years as an innovative entrepreneur #lovestartups and 6 years at Red Hat). He is now 100% focused on the Microcks open source project.

Microcks is a Sandbox project of the CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).

Yacine has also developed expertise in open organisations (intrapreneurship) and is passionate about strategic issues and corporate life (digital transformation and disruptive innovation).

He has been fortunate to always work in a multicultural environment. On a more personal note, he is a great lover of the mountains (climbing, skiing, etc.) and enjoys sharing good hoppy craft beers.

Edouard Klein is a computer scientist and security researcher with a Ph.D. in Machine Learning. He is the founder of Beaver Labs, where he builds tools for digital forensics, system security, and decentralized infrastructure. He contributes to free software, mainly GNU Guix, and is part of the Plan 9 community, having chaired the 11th International Workshop on Plan 9’s program committee in 2025.

Ivona Krchová is a Senior AI Researcher at MOSTLY AI, with key contributions to synthetic data technologies. She is a co-author of the TabularARGN model paper (2025) and the “Strong Statistical Parity Through Fair Synthetic Data” work (NeurIPS 2023), specializing in fairness-aware synthetic data. Ivona is experienced in privacy-preserving data synthesis, evaluation, and flexible generation.
Prior to joining MOSTLY AI, Ivona worked as a consultant at EY and as a data analyst in the energy sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Probability, Mathematical Statistics, and Econometrics from Charles University in Prague. She is an author of technical articles on synthetic data methods.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga.

Sébastien Lallemand is a Specialist Solution Architect at Red Hat. He supports his clients with containerisation projects based on Red Hat OpenShift.

As a senior developer in the Senate, Guillaume has developed technical expertise in Java and management applications. He has been involved in the design, development and operational maintenance of numerous applications specific to the functioning of the upper house of parliament.

Now a team leader, he supervises and promotes good development practices to ensure the smooth running of applications and infrastructure.

Matt Lavergne is one of Europe’s leading Open Source investors and a driving force behind its transformation from a developer movement into a high-growth, high-return investment category. He serves on the boards of several ambitious Open Source startups and has been an active GitHub contributor since 2013 — bridging the gap between code and capital.

Amandine is co-founder and COO of Element. She leads Element’s work with governments and other public sector organisations, like NATO and the UN, delivering secure and sovereign communication for those who can’t rely on commercial cloud offerings, let alone non end-to-end encrypted ones. Element builds on the Matrix open standard, which Amandine co-founded as well. Amandine also heads the Business and Impact section of the European Open Source Academy.

After graduating with a degree in software engineering, Manuel worked for several years at a large software development company. He then obtained a PhD in software language engineering. Since 2020, he has been working as a software engineer at XWiki SAS, primarily as a contributor to XWiki.

Since 2024, Manuel has been in charge of the ‘XWiki Cristal’ project, a new modular Wiki interface in JavaScript.

Wieland Lindenthal is co-founder and CTO of OpenProject and leads the team responsible for building deep integrations of OpenProject with other applications, such as Nextcloud and XWiki. Emily is a consultant who helps open source companies win their markets by taking full advantage of the benefits of an open source strategy while minimizing the risks. She hosts The Business of Open Source podcast and co-founded Open Source Founders Summit, a conference for founders and leadership in open source companies.

When Loïc isn’t campaigning against copying and pasting answers from StackOverflow without reading the documentation, he works in architecture in a variety of contexts as CTO of Takima.

He is particularly involved in providing concrete overviews to IT departments so that they can use trends and innovations and implement those that make sense: ‘Because you can’t find that on Stack Overflow.’

As Head of the Identity Department at Worteks, Clément assists clients in implementing open source IAM solutions to help them manage identities and access.

She supports public administrations in reducing the environmental footprint of digital technology through eco-design, extending the life of equipment and optimising data centres, while also leading training courses and communities.

Greg Wilkins is the creator of Eclipse Jetty, a pioneering Java web server project started in 1995. With over 30 years of experience in software development and open source leadership, he has guided Jetty through major evolutions in web technology and open source business models. Greg is the founder of Webtide LLC, the company behind Jetty’s commercial support and ongoing development. He has contributed to numerous web standards and open source initiatives, and remains a passionate advocate for sustainable, developer-driven open source.

Florent has been involved (both personally and professionally) in the FLOSS community since 1999. Professionally, Florent has worked for nearly 20 years in a consulting company as a Open Source advisor for large companies, helping them with software quality, Open Source governance, licensing, Innersource, as well as change management.
