The missions
The steering committee is the main governing body of the event. It is responsible for the organization of the event, its positioning, its programming, and its governance. It meets monthly to monitor the event's production and decide on its strategic direction.
Integration process
The integration of a new member into the steering committee can take place every year on unsolicited application of the organization.
The application period is between the day after the event of year N-1 and at the latest 2 months after it, for integration of the candidate in year N.
The eligibility requirements are as follows:
- To be a organization – company, association, public institution – operating in open source, participating in its ecosystem and conducting business in Europe
- To have exposed for at least two consecutive years at the Open Source Experience event (as an exhibitor or sponsor)
