L’édition 2026 d’Open Source Experience is officially underway: the Call for Papers opens on April 29 and will remain open until June 14.
Digital professionals, technical experts, public sector decision-makers, entrepreneurs, researchers, engaged users, and members of open source communities: now is the time to submit your experience feedback, strategic insights, and innovations.
Every year, Open Source Experience brings together the stakeholders shaping open technologies and digital sovereignty in Europe. This new edition will highlight the sector’s major challenges through 6 key thematic tracks.
The 6 Themes Selected for 2026
Track 1: Digital Sovereignty, Governance and Open Source Business Models
Which models can reconcile innovation, long-term sustainability, and strategic independence? This track will welcome discussions on governance, public policies, licensing, business models, and digital sovereignty strategies.
Track 2: Open Infrastructures, Cloud and Sovereign Platforms
Trusted cloud, controlled hosting, shared infrastructures, DevOps, containers, edge computing… Topics related to open and resilient technical foundations will be at the core of this theme.
Track 3: Open AI, Models, Data and Sovereign Ecosystems
Open source artificial intelligence is transforming usage and innovation. This track will explore open models, data governance, sovereign LLMs, AI industrialization, and new ecosystem balances.
Track 4: Cybersecurity, Trust and Open Source Resilience
Software supply chain security, compliance, auditability, vulnerability management, Zero Trust, critical infrastructure security… A dedicated space for digital trust and the robustness of open solutions.
Track 5: Sovereign Enterprise Application Platforms
ERP, CRM, digital workplace, collaboration tools, business applications, IT modernization: this track will showcase open source application platforms supporting organizational transformation.
Track 6: Open Source Culture, Skills and Careers
Training, recruiting, knowledge transfer, awareness-building: skills are a central challenge. This theme will highlight HR initiatives, career paths, education, and the spread of open source culture.
