Open source governance: An open partnership to build trust?
CONFERENCE IN 🇫🇷 – Defining governance is a major step in building an open source community, one that is too often underestimated or poorly understood. To address this, the ‘Open Partnership’ proposes a standardised, open and adaptable model aimed at simplifying the definition of collaboration rules, particularly by linking these aspects to certain economic and governance issues relating to the project.
This round table brings together the first users of this framework (public, private and associative actors) for a transparent debate on its practical application. Far from a simple presentation, the speakers will share their experiences, the adaptations they have made to the model and the sticking points they have encountered. The aim is to learn collectively how to improve this tool and share with the public the keys to success in securing and sustaining an open source project.
