Tristan Nitot, 58, is a digital entrepreneur, consultant, author and speaker. He has been involved in the Mozilla open source project (which developed the Firefox web browser) since its inception and co-founded Mozilla Europe, which he chaired for nearly a decade. He then joined the French start-up Cozy Cloud (open source personal data hosting) and then the European search engine Qwant. After a stint as Sustainability Manager at the Cloud Scaleway hosting provider, he now supports OCTO Technology on Digital Commons and the Anthropocene. He is also a member of the W3C Technical Architecture Group and participates in the CIGREF Strategic Orientation Committee.
