Torsten Hallmann works at SUSE as consultant for innovation and open technologies within the public sector. In this role, he builds bridges between the open source company and the public sector and is committed to digital sovereignty in Germany and Europe. Interoperability and security in IT infrastructures are a particular focus. Torsten Hallmann started as a support engineer at SUSE, led the systems engineering team in the DACH region for 12 years, and has more than 25 years of experience in the area of open source.
