Simon Morlat EN

After more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunications sector with Hewlett-Packard, Simon decided in 2001 to develop a real-time communication solution to meet a personal need. There were few options available at the time, and those that did exist were often proprietary and inaccessible. With this in mind, he designed Linphone, an independently developed project with the ambition of offering an open source solution based on standard protocols. In 2010, he co-founded Belledonne Communications alongside Jehan Monnier to structure and develop this initial project. Today, Simon remains fully involved in the development of Linphone solutions, particularly the Liblinphone SDK, and the company.
