David Szegedi is Senior Principal Chief Architect at Red Hat, within the Field CTO Organisation team, where he supports strategic partnerships with customers, partners and independent software vendors (ISVs).

His work covers emerging technology areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud operating models, and IT sustainability, where field feedback plays a critical role in shaping current and future solutions.

Before joining Red Hat, David held various positions as an architect and systems engineer in the IT industry, covering network and storage infrastructures, cloud virtualisation and container technologies.
