David Cormand EN

David Cormand has held many responsibilities within the Green movement: from ordinary activist, local election candidate, member of the federal council and then of the executive board, to head of elections, and finally national secretary. He is currently a Green Member of the European Parliament, sitting in the European Parliament within the Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA) group. First elected in 2019, he was re-elected in the June 2024 European elections. In Parliament, he works on issues such as agriculture, consumer protection, and responsible digital policy. He sits on the Committees on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI), Legal Affairs (JURI), and the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO).
