Brice Trinel

Brice Trinel is a French expert in cloud computing, DevOps and open source software. With over 20 years’ experience, he has established himself as a reference in the industrialization of open source practices, infrastructure automation and the adoption of cloud-native architectures. Since 2024, he has held a managerial position at the French Ministry of the Interior, where he steers strategic cloud projects while remaining actively involved in the open source ecosystem.

Before joining the government, Brice held positions of responsibility in a number of open-source organizations, including Stack Labs, Objectif libre and Smile, where he alternated between the roles of technical expert, pre-sales engineer and branch manager. He also ran FactorFX for five years at the start of his career. FactorFX is a company developing tailor-made open source solutions for companies and public administrations.

With certifications in the public/private cloud sector, Brice combines mastery of cloud-native tools, a DevOps culture and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams. His background gives him both a strategic and operational vision of digital transformations.
