Vivien Raynal

Vivian has been working at Médiane Système since 2017. Médiane Système offers end-to-end solutions for the entire lifecycle of connected systems in the industrial sector. The cybersecurity component is omnipresent in their work, from the specification to the destruction of the products they produce for their customers. In addition to its pre-sales activities, he works on structuring and monitoring cybersecurity in their projects, as well as setting up and monitoring collaborative innovation projects (national and European). He is a member of the Systematic cluster’s Cyber & Security Hub.
From 2012 to 2017, he was Technical Director at PY Innovation, a company in the NSIUM Group. The company specialised in the design and production of civilian drones. One of their flagship projects was a new concept for monitoring sensitive sites using a solution combining abandoned sensors, drones and a private 4G/LTEM bubble. At the time, he was a member of the ASTech cluster’s ‘Vehicle and Equipment Architecture’ select committee and a member of the Civil UAV Council’s ‘Support and Promotion of the Sector’ technical committee.

From 2003 to 2012, he was R&D engineer and project manager at PY Automation, a defence R&D company. He carried out technical and operational studies to define the military systems of tomorrow (15 to 30 years ahead). He also set up decision support/crisis management solutions for the Army. This was an opportunity to set up cybersecurity methods (with risk analysis based on EBIOS) with the DGA for the certification and integration of such tools on the army’s IS.
