Matthieu Boussard

Matthieu Boussard has over fifteen years’ experience in AI and machine learning. He currently works as Head of R&D at Craft.ai.
He obtained his doctorate in computer science in 2008, after which he spent three years in Japan doing research on AI in robotics. On his return to France, he decided to move on from robots to video game AI and joined a team to build explainable AI middleware. At Craft ai, he is in charge of R&D and coordinates research into trusted AI. In particular, he co-supervises two theses: one on confidentiality in synthetic data and the other on causality and LLMs.
