In 2017, he joined the Expertise Sub-Directorate (SDE) of the ANSSI as Information Systems Architect, before being appointed Deputy Head of Office in the Systems Security Office. After a year at CERT-FR, where he worked on the CSIRT relay ecosystem and on integrating the cloud into the business information systems of the Operations Sub-Directorate, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric returned to the SDE in October 2024 as a technology and innovation officer in the Industry and Technology Division. Sylvain Corlay is the founder and chairman of QuantStack, a company specialising in open-source software for scientific computing.<\/p>\n

As an open-source developer, Sylvain is very active in the free scientific computing ecosystem, particularly in the Jupyter project, as well as in the conda-forge and xtensor projects. In 2018, he and the other members of the Jupyter leadership were honoured with the ACM Software System Award.<\/p>\n

Beyond QuantStack, Sylvain is very involved in the community. Veronika Mazour-Mestrallet began her career as a private equity analyst at Goldman Sachs. She then joined the general inspection department of BNP Paribas, before moving to the Paris office of Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In 2009, she decided to invest fully in eXo Platform by taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer, a position she also held within the Codenvy spin-off from 2012 to 2015. Thereafter, she managed eXo Platform’s operations until 2022, when she became CEO.<\/p>\n

Before joining the government, Brice held positions of responsibility in a number of open-source organizations, including Stack Labs, Objectif libre and Smile, where he alternated between the roles of technical expert, pre-sales engineer and branch manager. He also ran FactorFX for five years at the start of his career. FactorFX is a company developing tailor-made open source solutions for companies and public administrations.<\/p>\n

With certifications in the public\/private cloud sector, Brice combines mastery of cloud-native tools, a DevOps culture and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
